The spider is innocent. My girlfriend is not. My girlfriend attacked an innocent spider today. It was minding its own business when she viciously beat the living heck out of it. A trained eye could see that this isn't her first rodeo. She's a seasoned spider-killing vet.

I can't bring myself to watch the video. Your girlfriend is right. I know, I know, spiders are important, interesting and beautiful creatures that deserve the right to be respected, but it's a all out endless war with the big ones.. yuk.
