Donald Trump Debt
Donald Trump Debt — Donald Trump, billionaire, would also be very, very much in debt: $ 650 million in debt, according to The New York Times, or twice what the candidate told the American authorities. Debts that bind him to his creditors.
In the US, the Republican candidate, Donald Trump, has repeatedly said that he earns millions per year, boats about financing his own campaign, and therefore depends, supposedly, on nobody.
Except that dozens of the companies he owns, which have shares in buildings, hotels, golf courses, vineyards, are in fact indebted to the tune of $ 650 million, more than twice what the candidate Republican told authorities during his campaign.
Among the financiers waiting to collect that money are some of the world’s largest banks but also some countries that Mr. Trump has often dubbed as enemies of the United States. The New York Times referred to the Bank of China, for example, a country that the candidate made the subject of attacks during his speeches on the campaign trail. Trumps companies also owe a substantial amount of money to Goldman Sacks, the famous investment bank that Mr. Trump accuses of promoting his rival Hilary Clinton. Many other lenders remain difficult to identify. The paper concludes that because of his debts, the candidate Trump is not as free as he claims to be, and that if elected, he could be subject to pressure from banks or his business partners.
Indeed, as US president, Trump would have substantial sway over monetary and tax policy, as well as the power to make appointments that would directly affect his own financial empire. Yet much of Trump’s business remains shrouded in mystery. He has declined to disclose his tax returns or allow an independent valuation of his assets.
Mr. Trump has even refused to release his tax returns, claiming that he is being audited as a reason for not doing so.
Если он станет президентом(тьфу) , мимо рта он ложку не пронесет. Ну, пря, как путин.
